Cottage Renovations – Dressing Room

Existing bathroom in a small sublet section of the cottage which how now been integrated into the main cottage, so the bathroom is no longer required. The space is to be converted into a dressing room for the cottage bedroom.


All the bathroom stuff moved, plumbing removed, drainage closed up, and leaking room repaired.


Below is a view in the other direction, standing where the ladder is above. The draining is for the new shower for the bathroom, which has also been enlarged slightly which is the reason the wall was removed.

Cottage bathroom and soon to be dressing room. Major piping, drainage, damp and water leak issues.

New cladded walls and screeded floors. New ceilings and power plugs for LED lights for the shelving. All ready to be painted.


Shelving being installed



Everything painted. New light fitting installed, clothes rails installed, and shelving with LED lighting installed. Floors painted with Duram floor paint. New skirtings installed. All skirtings were sourced from old Oregon pine wood floors removed from a friends home renovations.


The LED lights installed in the shelving is LED strip lighting, which can be purchased from Lumi Lights or Future Lights. These strip lights are generally sold in 5 meter strips, and pieces can be cut to the required size accordingly.
